Thermobaby Anatomical Potty Review

Thermobaby Anatomical Potty

I was potty training my son and I had a potty chair with a guard but he constantly took it of because he did not like it.So he would take it off, miss the potty, and pee on the floor, which was such a constant hassle and mess!So I started searching for a one piece potty chair that was high enough in front that he wouldn't miss the potty. Finally! I found this chair, I LOVE IT!It is easy to clean and rinse, unlike the other potty chair I had because you couldn't always get all the pee out of the creases inside the chair. If you are looking for a potty chair buy this one.I will say when I got it I thought it was really small and that it would never work, but I was wrong, my 2 1/2 year old loves it, with no problem using it.

Kalencom POTETTE - On the Go Potty Review

Kalencom POTETTE - On the Go Potty
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought the fisher price on-the-go potty first because there were a few negative reviews about the much smaller potette (claims that it collapses, is flimsy, hard to use, too small, etc.)and the FP had a higher star rating. I later bought the potette for a trip and am so very glad I did! When it comes to travel it is FAR SUPERIOR than the big, bulky Fisher price travel potty!

The potette is very sturdy if you set it up correctly. You have to click the legs into place. If you set it up without them snapping into place - of course it will be wobbly and possibly collapse! It was set up wrong! When clicked into place the legs are super sturdy and the potette will hold up to 50 pounds. My daughter is 3 and weighs 36 pounds. She had no problems at all using this and I anticipate she will be able to use it till at least kindergarten. I don't get the previous comments about it being too small - perhaps if you have big, big kids it might be too small, but otherwise it's just fine!

We recently went on a cruise from Puerto Rico through the Southern Caribbean and this potty was a life-saver!! We went to many national monuments, botanical gardens, a volcano and other outdoor excursions where there were either NO public toilets, or they were super gross hole in the ground toilets. The pottette was the perfect solution in those situations! It is small and lightweight, so it fits in your purse or pack, sets up quick and stays clean. disposal of the used bags is easy because they have absorbent pads inside and you can tie them securely so that they won't make any messes until you find a trash can. The potette has a thick plastic bag it comes in, so you can even stick the used bag inside that with the potette till you find a trash.

A comparison between the Fisher-price on-the-go potty and the Potette:

This Fisher price one is big and sturdy, has it's own case, you can use plastic grocery bags or trash bags in it, etc. and it's great for keeping in the car for "kid potty stop emergencies". However, it is pretty bulky and would not be handy for any walking, hiking type excursions (I'm talking about walks and hikes in places where it would be inappropriate to let them potty in the grass/nature areas & where public toilets are either absent or gross).

The potette however, is perfect for such things - it's much smaller & lightweight, has handy bags with absorbent pads, and comes in it's own little bag. The pottette is maybe 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick and 7x7 inches when folded into its bag - easy to stick in your backpack or even a bigger purse. The Fisher price on-the-go potty is significantly bigger! When folded up into it's case it is about 12-14 by 12-14 inches in size and 5-6 inches thick. Won't fit in a purse at all, and would take up a lot of space in a backpack or suitcase if traveling. It does come with it's own handle and shoulder strap, but why lug such a big thing around when the potette will fit directly into your purse or pack? And the potette doesn't weigh anything at all while the fisher price might add an extra pound or two to your load.

If you're a stick to town & always use a stroller type person, the Fisher price may be great for you. If you're more of an active, get out and about, carry light & no stroller type the pottete is a much better choice for you. If you're a traveler the pottete is absolutely the best choice!

TAKE HOME MESSAGE: The FP potty-on-the-go is great for in your car and people who stick around town, but buy the potette for travel when it would be better to carry a lightweight kiddie potty on your person wherever you may go!

Ginsey Folding Travel Potty Seat Review

Ginsey Folding Travel Potty Seat

I just bought the Dora folding potty seat today at Walmart. It doesn't cover the entire toilet seat.It starts at the front of the toilet, and doesn't go all the way to the back. The result is that there is no support in the back.My daughter is 3 yrs, 4 months, and this seat is much too weak for her.Any movement she makes causes the potty seat to sink in the back.I'm afraid that if we use it, it will soon break and she'll fall in.She definitely can't sit back, or even sit straight up because it sinks so much.I'm returning it and I'm going to look for something else.

BABYBJÖRN Toilet Trainer Review

BABYBJÖRN Toilet Trainer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My daughter started with the Baby Bjorn stand alone potty seat - which was great when she was just getting started with the idea of using a potty. She quickly became too tall to use the stand alone potty seat, so I ordered this Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainer and it has been fantastic. She quickly learned how to put the seat on the toilet herself and adjust the wheel to make it snug. It was also easy for her to remove and hang on a small butterfly doorknob my husband attached to the side of the sink cabinet. The seat gave her a great sense of independence and allowed her to be comfortable and secure while learning to use the big potty.

It is also great for traveling. I would put it in a zippered canvas tote and carry it with us into rest areas (it really does fit any toilet) - she could sit securely and be protected from unclean surfaces (I would carry a small container of Disinfectant wipes to clean her seat off each time we used it in a public restroom).

I highly recommend this Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainer!

PRIMO Folding Potty with Handles, White granite Review

PRIMO Folding Potty with Handles, White granite
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've had this seat for some time and I saw all of the negative reviews. It took a bit to figure out the quirks, but once I did, it was fine. The seat has to go on the very front of the public toilet, not the back or in the middle like mine at home. You have to make sure that it is on securely with the lip in the front against the front of the seat. Otherwise it will fold, which is probably what happened to the other reviewer. It will slid off as you come off if you're not careful. My five year old uses it by herself and I use it with my 2 year old. It is so compact that I can stick it in my purse (I carry in in a zippy bag) and very easy to clean. There aren't too many of this type of product out there, but for me, it works just fine.

PiddlePad Waterproof Seat Liner Review

PiddlePad Waterproof Seat Liner
Average Reviews:

I ordered the piddle pad a week before the birth of my third baby. I wanted to put it in his car seat to avoid the poop blow outs (caused by breast milk) all over his car seat. With my other two kids I was always cleaning their car seats when they were first born. Here is the only problem I found with the product. It doesn't fit into the infant carrier when it is set for a brand new baby. It was too big, no matter what I did it would not work. Not wanted to return a product I was sure would come in handy I moved it to my 20 month old's car seat and it worked and fit great. As a matter of fact after two weeks worth of use it finally got a chance to prove itself when it saved my son's car seat from the milk shake treat my husband had given him. It absorbed the drink and saved the seat. Easy clean up,For once I didn't have to disasemble the car seat so I could wash it. Great product for bigger babies and toddlers, ect....But not for newborns.
